It seems even the manufacturers of super luxury cars are now cottoning on to the fact that big multi-cylinder, gas-guzzling engines are set to be a thing of the past. Bentley, no less, has announced that it will be going hybrid in the future, marking the occasion with the reveal of its Hybrid Concept at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show 2014. Brit supercar visionary Lee Noble today has announced his new supercar project. His latest venture is called Fenix Automotive Limited – and it'll launch a new sub-£75,000 V8 supercar by this time next year, it was revealed today.The new Fenix-designed sports car will be a lightweight, mid-engined V8 that'll carry on where the original Noble M12 and M400 left off. Although the new supercar hasn't been named yet, Noble promises it'll be an ideal track-day tool capable of ripping to 100mph in less than seven seconds or pootling around on a weekend road trip.Hang on.
Bentley are raising UK Car Prices by 5% from 1st April 2009
I’m sure all us Brits still think of Bentley as a good old British Car Producer. But when we pause and think we remember that they are in fact part of VW, and therefore very much a European car maker. Which explains why, despite the cars being bolted together here, Bentley feels the need to put UK Car prices up by 5% from 31st March, due to the current weakness of Sterling.
